I Heart Summer Tag

The lovely Caitlin from Lifes Glitters tagged me in this and as the sun has decided to make a wonderful appearance in the UK i thought i'd give it a go.

1. Favourite bronzer for summer?
I don't really use bronzer, i only use foundation because i don't like the feeling of having loads of layers of make up on my skin so i can't really answer this one properly.

2. You're relaxing on a hammock on a tropical island, what would you be sipping on?
Hate to be boring here but probably just a soft drink. I'm not a big lover of alcohol so i'd probably just be drinking something like orange and mango juice. I'd probably be too busy swinging on the hammock anyway :) 

3. Favourite summer lip product?
For summer it's a toss up between 2. Either this pinky coloured one (on the left) that is from goodness knows where but it's a lovely shade that's quite subtle. The other is this bright orange one from Stafgazer (on the right) it's so bright that i obviously can't wear it alone so i usually combine the two and blend them together then add a touch of Vasline over the top.

4. Pool or beach?
Pool definitely! I love the beach but you can't always guarantee the temperature of the water and then you get seaweed attacking you and annoying people! I love lounging about on a lilo in the pool or being stupid and messing about. I could spend hours upon hours in a pool.

5. Summer = crazy hair, what's your must have styling product?
When the weather gets unbearably hot i just put my hair up in a bun, it really irritates me having it in my face and getting a super hot neck so it's best out of my way. Up or down i'd say my product would just be hairspray. Just something light like this Silverkin Classic Natural Hold from Wella so it holds down all of those strays that go crazy in the heat.




6. Sun bathing or fake tanning? 
Fake tanning 100%. There's been a few times now where i have got bad sunburn and i always get it bad on my shoulders. The one year i was at school and just sat out revising all day because i was in sixth form. Oh my life i got such bad sunburn on my back. It totally scared me and a few family members have had skin cancer and i just thought no thanks i don't want to go through that. So now i use the orange stuff in a a bottle :)

Bad eh!

7. Favourite summer nail polish?
Ooooo gosh! Urm loads! Probably pinks and pastel colours, like this Revlon lilac, '710 Clour 9' i love it!

8. Any summer traditions?
Nothing really other than chilling out at home and the feeling of being baked alive on a bus going to work. Sad to say it happens every year.

9. Favourite summer scent?
Paul Smith - Floral




10. Favourite BBQ food?
I love BBQ food but most of all i love BBQ bread/rolls. I love the chargrilled taste on them and then with a burger it's just heavenly.

11. Favourite summer proof makeup?
It has to be Vaseline's Rosy Lips. I use this numerous times a day to keep my lips moisturised because this heat is awful for them. I like that it has a touch of colour too.

12. Any summer vacations planned? 
I have no more holidays planned. I went to Woolacombe in Devon in May for my birthday (which you can read about HERE if you're interested to see what i got up to) and then my next holiday is in October. I don't really mind because I love being at home around my friends and family and just having the comforts of my own home.
